Has anyone who has State Farm insurance had their bike repaired? How much did it cost, I just got my estemate but will not be able to find out if they are going to total it till Monday and it is just killing me having to wait. I'm trying to find out how high they will pay out before totaling a new bike. The total repair cost is going to be 7,000 all cosmetic damage frame, forks, etc...are all fine, what do you guys think?

From what I have been told.... if the estimate of repair is around 80% of the value of the vehicle they will total it, if it reaches that number.

In my experience of doing wreck estimates at the shop, State Farm usually totals around 70% of retail. Retail being what the bike is worth now (pre-wreck), not new.:(

one thing for sure, make sure you decide what shop is going to do the work. i would really specify to check for dents on frame, bents swing arms etc...etc... and then go from there.
