Well my name is Tony, 25 years old. I am in the Army and currently stationed in Germany and about to embark on my second tour in Iraq pretty soon. I have always loved the Repsol since the 05 came out and I am going to get one when I am on mid-tour next summer. I geuss I wonder if the 08's will have a repsol edition as well and if they will be a reworked model like the 07 CBG600's. If not I will scoop up an 07.

I drive a 07 Acura TL Type-S...

Hey Tony,

Welcome to the board - hopefully we'll be able to keep you company while you're abroad.

I haven't heard any rumors about an '08, so I can't really say what to expect.

And nice choice on the car... my wife drives an '06 TL (WDP with charcoal interior). Quite the nice ride... too bad the Type S wasn't available in '06.

And another thought on the '08...

I'd rather see Honda come up with a different "limited" or "special" edition. If they keep repeating the Repsol theme, us '05 and '07 guys are going to become run-of-the-mill.

Ford's got it right with the Mustang. They've got the standard GT and within the past few years there was the Bullitt, Boss, California Edition, Cobra, Shelby GT500, Shelby GT500KR, Mach 1, Hertz Rental Car, etc.

Welcome aboard from the chicks! Hey I should have you say "Hi" to my bro for me. He is in Iraq again. I think he has pretty much lived there since 89. Being in Special Forces I guess he is having fun or he would have retired.

Hey where in Germany? I was born in Frankfurt and lived in Budigen, you know an Army brat.:D

Hey well thats awesome bro. Stay safe. I am actually planning on doing the exact same thing. Last time when I got home I bought my 07 Acura TL Type-S and also got into some investments. This time I am planning on buying my Repsol when I go on mid tour in the states and prolly paying off my car before I leave iraq. I just wonder if they are going to skip 08 like they did 06, if so I want to get my hands on a new 07 before its too late. Take care bro.

Tonyd,

Yeah, it's a bad ass bike, you'll love it. Keep your head down when your over here, there aren't many friends outside the wire if you know what I mean.

Take care soldier,
