Im not promoting or am I tied in with this seller.

I few months ago I laid down my beautiful Repsol on its left side.
I slid a good 20-30 feet with her...my left leg providing a nice buffer between the asphalt. I ended up with scuffed leathers and damaged left mid/lower...oh, and a fractured right wrist.

Anyways, I was about to order replacement plastics when I saw this guy on Ebay. I was hesitant on ordering and have been monitoring his sales and feedback.

Two guys from another site actually bought them and had great comments on the quality of paint, fit, and shipping condition.
So....I decided to take a chance.
For the price of the 2 panels that I was going to replace...almost 500.00...I got a complete set for the winning bid of 460.00.

I dont think he sells individual parts....but if you can win them at a low bid...they would be worth having a complete set. He even includes the inner plastic located under the mids...and I think the tank plastic thingy.

I will post a complete write up once I get them.

Like I said, Im not promoting his auction....just wanted to pass along a possible deal.

Im interested in the Movistar replica set...If the Repsol plastics are as good as they say, I will be ordering the other set for a backup.
This one sold for the killer price of 405.00:

Ive attached a pic of my poor Repsol...she has been sitting naked, waiting for her new plastics.

Well, I got the plastics today.
Shipping took 7 days from the time my Echeck cleared(17th) until today(24th).

All the plastics fit in one large box...I was expecting at least a couple.
You will see that it came in perfect condition...I thought for sure it would have had some damage being sent from Hong Kong.
I was under the assumption that it was gonna be shipped overseas in a cargo container.
Anyways, box was in perfect shape. Thank you USPS.

Plastics were individually wrapped with foam and bubble wrap.
Although the quality is not as perfect as factory OEM Repsol plastics...I would give it a 7-8 out of 10.
I did notice some imperfections...but that is only because Im a perfectionist.
But at a winning bid of less than 500.00....Im not gonna complain.
That same money would have gotten me ONLY 2 panels to replace my damaged ones.

In the next few days I will be installing...I will post updates as I go along.

Once I build up some more funds...I will be ordering the Movistar replica.

Here are a few pics:

Looks cool, nice to see English on those sponsor logos as the last one I saw on another forum they were all in some other language. :) What an incredible price, everything for five hundred bucks including the tank cover. Pretty sweet!

I heard they are a little harder to fit than the stockers, and you'll need to visit the hardware store for more screws. ;) Definitely let us all know how well the install goes, and make sure you take lots of pictures!!!

Looks to be the '04 replica scheme as I believe they dropped the "Man Power" logo in '05.
