I ain't skeered...:mrt:

My usual is 1431 between Cedar Park, TX and Marble Falls, TX. Great ride with a good section of twisties just past Jonestown. The rest of it is just nice cruising speed sweepers and what not.

I like to do 336 and 337 down in the souther portion of the TX hill country near Vanderpool, Leakey, Uvalde, Garner State Park, etc... Sad thing is I haven't made it down there in about 15 years. :(

yeah my point is... here where i am.. guys are too scared to mention good roads cause the popo decide they need more policing when they see that they are mentioned as "good roads"
personally i reckon they would be better off going to the opening of a donut shop or catchign real crims

Trust me, the popo know where the good roads are. Alot of them are riders themselves and enjoy the same roads.

same over here dude...
they know where we go to play.. they accept the fact to a degree.. but when things get out of hand they put a stop to it.. fair enough i reckon..

Some of you are right, when officers see the increase of riding on some roads, they increase security.

i have being riding on the same roads since i moved to north cal......i still see very minimum patrols on the roads that i ride.

i would not mind to poin the roads that i ride on the maps.

I live on the IA IL border:mad:. The roads round here suck. Unless you want

to go fast in a straight line:D . I usually have to drive about 15 miles

just to get a couple "good" turns in. So for this post Ill just sit back and be

jealous of all your guys wonderful roads to ride.

Canyons??? What are those?? None round here. I would love to be that

close to twisty roads or anything that would be remotely fun and make this

bike worth owning, besides the fact that it is just bada$$. I get bored

gettin stuck behind cars and driving in traffic for 30mins. We have country

roads which equal straight for 5mi, one 45mph turn, straight for 3mi, one

50mph turn. The capabilities of this bike will never be tested in this area (no

tracks either). There is a reason I drive by so many "cruisers" around here.

Not being an a$$, it just sucks to have a bike like this and not be able to

do the weekend drives through the canyons or "hit the twistys".

yes ...that would be kind of boring. i wonder if there is some houses building in your neighborhood. when i moved up here (nor cal)....i did not know where to ride....so i rode on the new track homes. well, there were some new homes building close to my house.....since the streets are the first thing builders built....i was taking my bike (suzuki) to the new track homes streets....just to practice braking, leaning, downshifting...references etc..etc... no speeding, cause, one day a sheriff patrol car went in the streets, pulled me over....he said " you can practice but no speeding" ...he knew that there was no traffic nor any people living there yet. he just said to me...to take it easy....even the security guards they would just watch me go on circles.....three months later, i had two of my friends ride with me on the track homes streets just to practice. i had to stop going there due to house were selling like pancakes....that was 3 years ago..

Good idea, never thought about that. A lot of the neighborhoods starting to

go up around here. The bigger ones are replacing the cornfields in the bigger

cities. Ill have to keep my eyes open for new ones. Thanks for the idea.

Is there an echo in here.....Member Map thread (http://http://www.repsolforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=500&referrerid=138)

I do think it's a good idea. All it would take is a pin, maybe two (one at the start and one at the end?) with a optional brief description.
