Do you Ride at night?

I seen this on another forum, I never realized how many people didn’t ride at night. I personally love it.

I would ride more at night, but I work from 7-4 m-f and when I get home I chill with my 2 kids and wife.....every once in awhile I will take the bike out at night for a quick ride....

Although I have a car, I commute on my bike, I joyride on my bike, I just can't stay off it...so yeah pretty much every day and every night I'm ridin. I got a scorpion helmet with that quick release sheild so I just pop off the dark smoke and put on a clear one for night time.

But...I dont ride in the rain!! Got stuck out there a couple times in it and it sucked!!!

I think night rides are nice and cool literally so it make for an enjoyable ride. Expecially in the summer months.

I don't like to ride at night. An occasional (one every couple years) bike night is all. Too many drunks around Austin, as well as the deer that love to run out in front of people.:eek:

My night vision isn't so great anymore, but I'm not afraid to. I just see better in daylight. I get halos in the eye with the replacement lens.

I dont mind riding in the rain, I do try to avoid it though. But i know when i do get caught in it. I gotta atleast dedicate about an hour or two cleaning every little water spot off or it will drive me crazy. :eek:

The rain Hate it:mad: even after the rain stops the tire just does not contact wiht the road right and I dont wanna ride like an old lady everywhere at 30 mph but accelleration is just out of the question, sucks....Nite ride I love it but I ride slower, keep the cars way away from me, and I am just constantly anticipating the stupid drunk manuvuer that will put me on the hot seat so unless the traffic is like zero no speeding at night>>>>>>> I can say that it was good that myslef and some friends ride alot at night becuase we have been right behind some accidents where people were slightly hurt and had to make the cell phone call for medical attention, and calm down pregnent ladies and young children. I have been thanked by the EMT's for stoping, calming people down , and getting them away from the vehicles left in the road...:eek:
