2007 GAS decals

Hey got a question about the GAS decals. Havent had a chance to put them on yet but was pretty confident I knew what I was doing with the Honda set up guide, but apparently not. So I have 2 GAS decals which I am unsure about aside form the 2 orange bordered ones that go on the cowl and the enomous one for the right side. I have a medium one labeled 83730-MEL-D500 #1, and a slightly smaller one labeled 83720-MEL-D500 #1, which one goes on the front fender and which one goes on the left side? In the guide it doesn't specify which sticker # goes where and they look very simalar in the pictures. Thanks.

Take a closer look at the instructions, the enourmous GAS decal goes on the front fender, not the right side.

The medium GAS decal goes on the right side, and the smallest goes on the left side.


ONE CRITICAL RULE:

You should notice that there are two of almost all decals, and that almost all of them have two sizes. The larger of the two goes on the right side of the bike, as there is more room on the plastics for decals. The left side is slightly smaller, hence the smaller decals.

well that is complete false ;) i put on my decals today, took me 'bout 5 hours to do this, tricky part are stickers around corners... putting decals 3d is not that easy... well back to the problem... the biggest GAS decal comes to the right side. the smallest comes on the front fender (83720-MEL-D500).
i don't know why this is not in the setup instruction manual. i also noticed that there are difficulties with the factory placed "HONDA" sticker, if you take their position as reference as shown in the manual youre not 100% right. they are not 100% well placed....
i've done all stickers by putting them "wet" on the bike.... you can find a small video how this is done on the tankslapper HP, same technique.

Thanks, I was wondering when that was going to be updated cause I knew right away that the big one didn't go on the front fender. Ended up having to order a second set in the process but got them all installed last month, bike looks much better with the decals IMO.

Y'all need to quit hitting the crack pipe... :D

Looking at the decal placement guide, it's blatantly obvious that the GAS decal on the front fender is significantly larger than the decal on the right side.

Not that it's a big deal, but I will agree to disagree on this one.
