Just a fair warning - I rode with a helmet mounted to the side of my 929 one evening and scuffed the tail section. I'd just use the helmet hanger for parking... not for riding...

Can you guys tell or show me how that thing works? I've read the instructions but feel like a (dee dee dee)
Is there suposed to be a hook under the seat? The rubber wire thing is too short to loop back. If it doesn't loop back, how does it lock? :confused2:

I always had difficulty using that thing, that is why I gave it away.
I thought it should have been longer...maybe I will make my own.

It slides through the chin buckle then back through itself and over the hook bit under the rear seat. Does that make sense ! :poke:
Agreed only use it parking!

^ I don't have a hook under the seat. Is it removable or maybe mine is broken? :confused2:

the hook is actually one of the 2 metal tabs that stick up. loop the cable through the d-ring of the hemet and the two loops on the cable around the metal tab on the tail section of the bike.
ill try to find photos for you.

the photo might be alittle too small to see but the metal tabs are the hooks on the rear seat lock bracket. hope this helps.

^ you mean the two loops the front of the rear seat locks on to? Thw wire loops over that loop, goes through the helmet D-Ring and then loops back over the seat lock loop?

Ordered one myself from HONDA $6.85 and yes parking only and watch the back of your helmet when it goes down next to the passenger pegs I got a ding and small chip in my new ARAI ASTRAL
