Hello All...
Of prime concern for all of us is the security of our bikes. There are a number of ways to handle this depending on your situation.
1. Ride your bike home every night...OUCH!
2. Bring your truck/trailer/van and re-load your bike at your hotel/campground and lock it to your vehicle.
3. Sleep on your bike...DOUBLE OUCH!
4. Sleep with your bike at campground...and tether yourself to it...on the high side so it doesn't fall on you at 3AM...TRIPLE OUCH!
5. Hire personal Security Guard...tough on wallet
6. Leave in locked Repsol Hospitality overnight...get a ride to/from track...I can take 1 guy.
7. Don't sleep for 3 days!!!
Bottom-line is that I have been to the event for two years and I parked mine outside my motel room like 90% of the people do with no troubles 2 years ago. Last year it stayed in my van at night as I was extra careful due to the special value of my bike, and the van wasn't stolen either.
While it is true that some bikes and vehicles with bikes do get stolen, our Repsols are no more valuable than other bikes to thieves, except to us owners, so use good judgment, plan accordingly, and your bike will be safe.
Nobody should disclose where you are staying in public posts and only make accommodation deals via private message. I have posted another message about accommodation requests here:

I'll see you there...RR
