any one ever try this for balancing? i just got some new tires mounted and instead of the "pretty" clamp weights that mounted to the center of the rim, the stuck a bunch of ugly adhesive style weights on the rim lip...so i got home, did a google search and saw these....

I have a friend with an R1 who uses this DynaBead. I heard no complaints and it's kinda cool not seein' the weight adhesive all over your Rims.

Unfortunately I will be needing to balance both wheels AGAIN.

Found a local shop that uses them and definitively going to try it. Thanks for the heads up Marc.

im liking the dyna bead wheel weight idea! Considering how after 1500 miles or more, the tires need re balancing. You lose about .25 ounce or more

I've run the Dyna Beads in both bikes last year..07 Repsol, and 98 Super Blackbird. I do not know that there is any "feel" that was noticed as far as smoother or less vibes,..but of course that is the point of having the stuff in your wheels right. It is also advertised as improving tire wear by virture of the better dynamic balancing,..this you will see no doubt if you look close enough. Having said that, my front tire on the Blackbird was cupped again (Michelin Pilot Road 2CT's in use). I've changed them out again this season with Pilot Power 2CT's and will watch the wear pattern again...no Dyna Balls in use as of yet,..but I've got some extra loads to install if I desire. Only 80km's so far on the new tires. There are many variables at play when it comes to tire wear,..maybe I had another issue at work on my tires? I'm not sure I'm sold on this stuff or not.

well i'll be a monkey's uncle kickin footballs into the wind on a breezy afternoon.... THESE THING ACTUALLY WORK!! i took off 5 quarter ounce weights off the rear rim and put in 2 oz of Dynabeads and took off 3 weights off the front rim and put in one ounce Dynabeads in. took it out for a quick spin up to 120mph and everything felt smooth! the weights did the job too, but my rims look clean now! so, it gets the seal of approval from me!
