if your changing your gearing take a look at 1888fastlap.com (http://www.1888fastlap.com), they have a really good ratio chart for front and rear sprocket conversions, answers all your questions. I keep it in my track day racing folder along with other good reference stuff.

shift the ratios under the countershaft sprocket, 13/38 = ratio of 2.92, line em up from there.
