Hey ya'll,

Just bought my 07' while I was on leave and I'm stoked!! Just one question. They keep telling me that REPSOL is a limited production bike but no one seems to know or will say just how many they plan on producing, Anyone out there know?

I'm from AZ. currently deployed to Iraq and looking forward to that first good ride when I get home.:evilgrin:

Know one really knows how many Repsol Editions were made for each production year. There has been lots of talk about it here:

Welcome aboard... this really is a friendly site - don't let the thread Bk linked convince you otherwise. That was our one low moment so far... :rolleyes:(well, that plus every one of HondaHoons posts).

And there doesn't really seem to be an "official" answer publicly available. Honda probably won't tell us because they don't want us to know just how "limited" our bikes really are...

welcome dude,you'll like this forum,as for how many repsols honda produce a year,I think on average each dealer gets 4 bikes,the next question is. How many dealers are there. That i'm not sure.

Welcome...you purchased the illest bike there is!!! But no one seems to know the exact number. some got 4, some more than that, some got one or none. i've personally spoken to a few honda dealerships and have gotten numbers ranging from 500 to 3500 total.....who knows?

What part of the service?? My brother is in Special Forces and is currently home. He has been in the service since '88. Wish I could say the stuff over there would quit but I don't see that happening in my lifetime.

my repsol is 002/300 produced for aus/nz

there were only 300 for us

In answer to some of your questions, I am a Master Sergeant in the Army and have been in since '87, yeah I'm old. Anyway I'll get home in November and hope to put in a good ride then.

As far as the pic goes I can't seem to get mine to load up, still trying. Thanks for the feedback on the production #'s, it sounds like a big mystery to all of us who knows.

I called Honda Customer service for some VIN # clarification. I also asked them about the "Certificate of Authenticity" given to repsol owners in Australia. He told me that they do not do it for the US bikes because it is a much larger market here and there is no fixed # on how many repsols they make.
Dont know how much that guy knows but he went and asked somebody before he answered me.
