Repsol seat cowl

Interested to know where everyone bought their rear seat cowls and how the fit and finish is. Price, etc. I'm in the market for one.

I had the cowl for the 05...it was hard to get squared away.
I ended up buying a used 600rr cowl...I think it looks better.
Not to say the 1000rr didnt, I just preferred the look of the 600rr.

I think I got mine via Ebay...it was a "buy it now" only auction. Price was 150.00

There are a lot of them on eBay, but you should be able to pick one up from your dealer when you pick up the pick. A lot of dealers also let you purchase your first accessories at a good discount and include them into your loan if you'd like. But check your prices because dealers love to charge over MSRP and then give you a discount that really doesn't save you much over what you can get it for at other shops.

I use Ron Ayers (http://www.ronayers.com) to look up my parts via their microfiche, then I order from Zanotti (http://www.zanottimotor.com) because they usually have the best price and shipping.

ebay, 150 ish i think it was, fit and finish is perfect once you play with the washers/screws to get it to sit flush. im a little confused about why this has to be done personally, i dont understand how any bike would be any different from the next to have to adjust it to your personal bike, they should come a set way from the factory for all the bikes.

Has anyone seen the seat cowl for the 07 Repsol or does anyone know the part number for the 07?

I had them throw it in for free when I bought the bike. They get a real good deal on them and hey your buying an expensive bike.

Honda shop 85 dollars! Factory honda seat cowl.

I got mine from Honda of Troy, on Ebay, $139 and the '05 fits the 06, so it should fit the 07 fine.

I wonder if the blue is the same on the 05 and 07 repsol?

I believe the blue is the same. I saw the new Repsol at the bike show and it looks to be the same.
