i wanted to get some feed back you guys/gals on wheels. i was debating between carrozzeria wheels or marchesini wheels. i hear that carrozeria's are stonger but marchesini's are lighter. what do you think?

B.K. can give ya feedback on one of those brands....dont know who is running the other.

Yeah, we talked about it a bit over the weekend. Lighter wheels make such a big difference in the way the bike performs. The Marchesini is probably lighter with its magnesium blend than the Carrozzeria wheels. They look similar in style, so it probably comes down to which wheel YOU think is best for your bike.

Either way you can't go wrong, I would love to lighten up the wheels on the 900RR, but after I put them on the Repsol, I think I'd have a hard time convincing the wife about putting them on the 900. :)

whats the problem with the strength of the marchesini's? if you hit a pot hole are they gonna warp? im interested in this too as i am very close to getting my Repsol and i want 5-6 spoke wheels

a buddy of mine uses marchesinis's on his stunt bike and street bike. he said first few months marchesini's cracked. i can see it cracking under alot of wheelies. but then came his show/street bike and the cracked about a year later. i have also read online that marchesini has cracked to other customers.
