I won't pass judgment 'til I see an overall shot. It looks like it could be really cool, but it could be one of those things that is just too "loud" in the grand scheme of things.
Kinda like that bike BK posted a while back... tons and tons of cool stuff, to the point of being too much cool stuff.

Yea, I know what you mean. I saw that one post with that repsol with all the "bling bling" like the gold mesh and stuff. Nasty! Here's a couple pics so you can make your judgment

Yea it is pricey.. but owning a repsol can make you do some crazy stuff sometimes. You could personally do it cheaper I think if you do it on your own. Just get the hugger painted the repsol orange instead of the blue that it comes in, then do the rest out of vinyl like the fairings on the bike itself. It looks just as good. Get the letters cut out by computer, then clearcoat everything.

Go take a little closer look - it's flat black from the factory. I plan to have mine painted Repsol blue, for the subtle look.
Edit - and since it's a custom paint job and not yours, I'll critique. I personally would've made the lines curve a bit downward with the fender. It looks a lot like a surfboard stuck under there from a distance. Kinda loses the shape of the fender...

Ya I agree! I did my stock fender the repsol blue and i love it. I am not a big fan of the after market huggers cuz they all seem to have the chain guard built in.

I think he means he'd like the hugger without the chain guard attached to the hugger itself. Kinda like this one.
