02 Pontiac Grand Prix(Inherited this one when I got married, its a nice reliable car)
06 Honda Pilot(Was so impressed with my two Honda motorcyles reliability that I wanted a Honda truck to pull my bikes)
The pics of the Grand Prix and Pilot are company pics because I havent gotten around to taking pics of them, since I've only had the Pilot for a couple of months and never took the time to take a pic of the Grand Prix.:D

I am a ricer through and through. I have a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon that I bought brand new and is now my race car. I have been building it for about 4 years now. The last step for it is a full roll cage. It is pushing 600whp with 420 ftlb tq. It ran 9.80 @ 143mph in orlando florida.
I have been building drag cars all my life so this one is just a toy. Front wheel drive just suck, the next one will be a 65 malibu.
it is not street legal in california so it sits in the garage collecting dust because I can never get to a track like I did in florida.

I have built quite a few mustangs in my day and I can honestly say that if I put as much money into a mustang as I did this car, I would have a near 7 second mustang.
I worked at Lugo Performance in orlando florida, Dennis Lugo is one of the top drag radial racers out there. He just broke into the 7 second E.T. and has spent a few thousand more on R&D than I did.
If I had to do it all over again, I would pick an older mustang coupe or Pontiac WS6.
325 for a mustang is nothing to sneeze at especially if it is all motor. A stock mustang runs high 14's low 15's anyway so high 12's is pretty darn decent in my book. Throw 150 shot of juice on it, drop 6 degrees of timing and gain another second.

Yeah - it's scary how quick it can all add up. I personally bought all used parts from a Mustang forum. Everything but the shortblock was bought used - though the short block was used, just rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, etc. So far, I've only spent around $1,700 on all my go-fast goodies.
It's a temporary motor - just wanted to get into the mid 13's and ended up in the high 12's. The real motor comes after I do suspension, brakes, wheels and tires, roll cage, rear end, etc...

Dont get me started on trucks with the F-word on them. You know what
they say, Henry Ford always circled all his mistakes. HAHA. Second, not
much use for snorkels on a two wheel drive pu in my area:confused2:. I am
digging the red one though, too bad its not a GMC 3500, duramax:D.

I so want to make the jump to an M3 or zo6. Took my $$ From the 68 Camaro and bought half our company. Oh well there are a couple cars on the horizon I have an eye on:rolleyes: Thank god the Repsol takes care of my hyper itch! For now.

the red one i posted originally was real 1999 #150. the black one was not real, back when i was 17/18 and didnt know any better. i feel a little better about it now though because i parted it out before i sold it so there is 1 less faleen running around. i know how that felt when i spent the money on a real one later on and all i kept getting asked was "is it real?" "its probably fake right?" even though it was legit. and yes the mystichrome on the left was mine. i didnt have it very long, i actually bought it from a guy in michigan who collected mustangs so it had only 6,000 original miles on it 6 years later. i turned around and sold it for a nice profit to someone in new york. that guy also had a 95 cobra r still in the wrapping, and an old gt500kr with 50k orig miles
