Painting the Repsol Mirrors?

Hey all....
What do you guys think about painting the stock mirrors (05 rep)?
I was thinking of painting them the repsol orange with a little gloss black worked in some spots.....
I saw what bangcustoms did on his repsol...kind of gave me the idea.. I just didn't want the word "repsol" painted on my mirrors like the bangcustoms example --- any thoughts/ ideas/ experiences?

never thought about doing that....good idea....not sure what color I would use on my 07 though.....

I dont know about the Orange....maybe Repsol blue.:D

Repsol blue would look good on a 05...not sure about an 07....maybe some red....

i think pearlblue would fit on a 07 repsol, red, orange or white could be too much contrast... i dont want a mickey mouse bike

Yeah... With my 2005 Repsol --- I think I may get some of the Repsol Blue paint and have my local body shop paint my mirrors in that color..... I think that would look pretty good....
Any other ideas?
