-07 Repsol- like white on rice. Giggity.
-02 F4i Streetfighter- it wins trophies and sh1t
-06 AnvEd R6- "20k redline" beater
In the last couple weeks we have seen Captain America, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and The Help. All great MoviesI would say Planet of the Apes was a little better than Captain America and The Help is not in the same category so you cant compare because it deals with reality even though the novel is fiction. I'm sure The Help will be up for an Academy Award for Picture or maybe actress and Probably Planet of the Apes for CGI Effects

HP7 Part 2 = GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!
That's Harry Potter 7 Deathly Hallows Part 2 for the acronymly impaired.
And I dont use the designation of 'Greatest Movie of All Time' lightly. The last time was in the fifth grade when I saw Top Gun and don't lie, I know you wanted to be a jet fighter pilot too...!
Sincerely Yours,
Mega-Harry Potter-Geek,
Shane
I'm very cool with Harry Potter read all the Books got all the movies on Blu Ray except HP7 P2 but I will whens it out. Harry Potter , Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Star Wars all great. I love the Movies , Brigitte and I saw Pirates at the El Capaitan in Hollywood, I saw Star Wars with my Mom in 77 across the street at Grahmans. I love California all except for our Idiot Government.![]()

Harry Potter movies = gay
Captain America = gay
Lord of the Rings = gay
Looks like Hollywood has become more like West Hollywood
All kidding aside, I could never get into the HP thing. I mean its a kid with a wand. Just pull out a .45 and send some lead his way......see how good his alchemy is
Captain America, it was ok. But that dude is also the Human Torch so wtf? Torch wasn't part of Avengers but the Thing was, plus it's still the Marvel Universe so he shouldn't have played Captain America.
Lord of the Rings, man all they did was f'n walk for hella long and occasionally take a break and eat some freakin elf bread...or whatever the hell was in their napsack. Seriously those LOTR movies gave me migraines.
Most recent movie I saw that blew me away was X-men First Class. That, Iron Man 1, and Batman the Dark Knight = greatest superhero movies of all time.

My son and I dissected this quagmire also and we decided to give the dood a pass. Mostly because it was a promotion of sorts going from Human Torch to Captain America. Also if I were in his shoes I woulda done the same thing. From a Marvel fanatic standpoint I was perplexed. Secondly, Cap is a true Marvel film made by Marvel people as opposed to the Fantastic Four franchise which Marvel in it's infinite wisdom and failing business model whored out to 20th Century Fox was only supported by Marvel.
The real crime is Ryan Reynolds (whom I am a fan of eg: Waiting) went from Deadpool (Marvel - Xmen) to the friggin Green Lantern (DC Comics). This one really got my boxers in a bunch.
Okay, rant over. We love most all comic book movies. And like you George we are huge fans of movies period. Although I couldn't get myself to read the HP books. Mostly for fear of disappointment after seeing the inconsistencies from book to movie. After all as it stands for me, HP7 Part 2 is the 'GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE...!'
I saw Horrible Bosses and Super 8 last week. Horrible Bosses was funny, liked it (liked Jeniffer Aniston too). Super 8 was just okay entertainment. It had Steven "E.T." Spielberg written all over it. Going to Rise of the Planet of the Apes this week.
Saw HP7 Part 2 a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was better than part 1. I've seen all the HP movies too.![]()

I love the harry potter series, and lord of the rings, but you know Star Wars was the best. I am hateing it that the writers are not writing any new movies but instead resarecting older movies and saying they are making them more modern. hey how about this why dont you write a more modern movie instead of resarecting the past. just my![]()

Hollywood is disappointing at best, and I can say that with at least a little personal knowledge.
With that being said, the only film I have seen recently is the last of the Harry Potter films, and I will say that it was a great and true adaptation of the book.
I think the books are interesting because you can actually walk through the growing up process from the first book to the last, and kids who were young when the first book came out, grew up with the books, very similar to Harry himself.
As far as movies go, I am a movie buff big time. But since the end of the Star Wars movies, I don't find myself looking for anything to grab me to the theater. I almost went to see Captain America, and then I was like "meh, I'll wait for the DVD, not worth the expense."
That's my biggest issue is that the movies just aren't worth me paying 10 bucks to see (it's a little less than that, but you get the idea).
I look forward to movies that make me want to go to the theater!![]()
If loud pipes save lives, imagine how many would be saved by learning to ride!
Watching TV the other night saw two movies I had never seen before.
City Island with Andy Garcia VERY VERY GOOD
The Accidental tourist with William Hurt VERY GOOD
Both worth a look![]()

I went to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which was very good. Cowboys and Aliens, was nice entertainment and Flypaper, which was a bit dissappointing, but had a few laughs.
Gonna download City Island and The Accidental Tourist, thanks for the tip George.
Just found out about this, cant wait for June

Enjoyed "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo",..Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara. Co-work relates that the book/s are even better, but he liked the movie very much also.
