Original Equipment on the Ducati Panigale, the new SP Version 2 Diablo Supercorsa features the same tread design used in the 2012 World Superstock 1000 championship. High modulus fiber carcass offers a lower deformation ratio and makes the entire structure stiffer to allow a better synergy between compounds and tire carcass. Single Element Tread Pattern permits a 24% larger slick shoulder area (vs. previous Diablo Supercorsa), increasing contact area and grip and wear regularity. New compounds offer great balance of mileage and grip in an ultra-high-performance product. Rear tire uses Pirelli's patented EPT (enhanced patch technology) matched with a tri-zone compound that helps optimize the contact patch for improved grip and handling.

    Features:
Single Groove Technology greatly improves wear
Bi-Compound rear tire with slick shoulder for racing-like performance
WSBK derived materials and structure for increased agility and intuitive handling
Innovating and exclusive Pirelli-patented high-modulus carcass Lyocel fiber
Tire profile features variable geometry from the center to the shoulders for an increase in contact patch and quicker entry into turns
Tire carcass has variable density from center to the shoulders to provide maximum linearity and stability through turns and to maintain optimal trajectory
    TL (tubeless)
(W)-rated for speeds of 168+ MPH
200/55-17 is OE for Ducati 1199 Panigale
190/55-17 is OE for CBR 1000rr Repsol

The only Pirelli's I use now are slicks on the track.

I have extra rims. You pick a brand model and size. I never ride in the rain. And ill compare them. twisty mountain and unused toll roads a sportbike paradise. Southwestern pa.

Dude, I lived in central PA for 11 years until recently. The greasiest tires I ever had were the Pirelli's that came stock on my 2011 848 EVO. I could not WAIT to get rid of them.

But, since I don't ride crazy on the street anymore (ask Jenna...I was like a little old lady riding with her in NH), I couldn't tell you what to ride...and it's all about feel. I don't like that sliding feeling that you get from the Corsa's,. I would prefer the stickiness that comes with some of the Michelin's, or even the Bridgestone BattleAx series (although I think I hated the BT003...).

I've tried them all, and honestly, for the street, I go with what will get me home safe in a sudden downpour. On the track, I will use DOT tires if it's cold, but the Pirelli racing slicks are pretty sweet, and relatively cheap (about 350 for a set).

Tires are very subjective to the person. I just don't like how much the Corsa's cost for the performance of them.

I ran over to the track here in Bowling Green, KY a couple weekends ago and talked to a friend of mine who ran the tire you just picked up Dave. Within a day he shredded both sides. It looks to be very sticky and the touch of the hand is very soft. Never been a Bridgestone fan but I may pick up a set for the next track day here. Send me a text about the spot you grabbed them from or who to contact. Thanks bud!

Like Crapgame said, the Motorsport.com price seems to be about the best. (I have deal with Bridgestone and get my tires directly from them.) I love these RS-10's They are long on grip, but yes, short on life. But that's a trade off I'm willing to make!

I'm with you Dave. I'd rather trade longevity for grip. Bike won't last long with tires that don't hook up.

Question ? How many of us have switched the rear axle from the left to the right? Holds rear caliper in place for easy rear tire removal

I'm curious as to what everyone is running for tires now, and how do you like them? I'm in the market for new tires. So I came here for reviews, but they're a few years old.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to try those next time. I bought a set of the Dunlop Q3 plus already.
At this point, I'm sure anything will be better than these old Bridgestone battlax BT015's. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...177022649e.jpg
