    Default Hello from Vermont

Hey everyone. I was happy to see an actual repsol forum lol. Im on my second repsol. First was an 05 1000rr
current is an 09 1000rr. Sadly my gnk iridium spark plug electrode broke off and ruined a cylinder. Shes going into surgery within a week.
Hopefully she'll be back on the road by the end of july.
Loved the black frame of the 05 and really did not care for the look of the 09 so i dolled her up. Did the frame and lots of orange anodized parts. Tell me what ya think!

Sadly the electrode piece from the spark plug gouged the cylinder wall

    Cool Re: Hello from Vermont

    Welcome Nick,
    Enjoy the bike and forum.
The silver frame was the icing on the cake for me after a black framed white 2007 CBR600RR.
That's why it's called your bike!
Yeah, ignore the jealous. My first Repsol was a 2009. I greatly miss that big analog tach and the lightest, quickest model.
Suggest getting the suspension set up for you.

Guy i bought the bike from raced quite a bit and he always had it setup.
The 05 i crashed (front end got tired of 90mph wheelies) so who knows maybe its just my own fears. I love em both to be honest. But it definitley is more nimble

It's really hard to give our opinion so quickly..
Do you have another pic? Perhaps one with your face in it?

    Just trying to help.
    Oh... and welcome!

Im at a point where ill need to make a decision soon. I have to replate the bad cylinder but it will be a few hundred more to bore and replate all four cylinders. I tried to post about this on a new post a few days ago but it hasn't posted yet
Im curious about any differences one would notice in say 50 extra cc's. And if its even worth it to do it

Oh yea and tomorrow post up a Picture of Yourself for the PBR queen and get some $50 bills. I suspect you may be in for a house call if you're not careful.
