I just wished I had remembered this thread and thought of it when I sent my extra upper cowls to be plastic welded and painted. I could have had him fill in the turn signal openings since he was prepping the orange area. Although, I guess two sets of signals on each side should be ok, although it would blink much faster without some resistors/stuff in there.

Just saw this thread, and I've done this with my 07.
In my opinion looks nice.

I like the format of the mirrors and also covering the mounting bolts.

Also, I made the adaptors with acrylic, which was easier to mold.
